Delicious Nepalese cuisine is full of diverse foods and unique flavors. Learn with me how to make a staple Newari food (Newar is an ethnic group first residing in Kathmandu valley) served as a snack or for breakfast. Bara or Wo: is a savory spiced pancake made of pre-soaked black gram served with typical Nepali tomato achaar (pickle). The recipe followed is an authentic Nepali version made in my husband’s family for generations
